Declan's Car Seat Cover

I made this car seat cover for Declan using the same material I used for his quilt.
It has a flannel back with batting sandwiched in between so it will be nice and warm.

My second round of Siteman Cancer Center pillow covers.

I made 20 this time.

We have our big sew-in tomorrow, I will let you know how many we get done.

Declan's

This is the blanket I made for my new grandson.
My daughter wanted one similar to the one below
that I made three years ago for my second grandson.

I used cottons, flannels and ultra cuddle fabric for both of them with a satin binding.

I found this wonderful chevron ultra cuddle fabric for the back.

It is so soft!

Reunion Quilt

I made this quilt to raffle off for our family reunion fund.
We will be picking the winner at our reunion next summer.

I used the "Around the World" pattern because our
family has spread out but we are all still centered to each other.
My Mom did the hand quilting.

Almost all the material was from my mothers fabric closet,
I used a small amount of my material to fill in some color gaps.
There are some great vintage pieces in the quilt!

I love the teal binding, I think it really makes the quilt pop.
It finished at 60 x 60.
I hope I win! Ha

Flower and Feather

I made this Shriners quilt earlier in the year. It was machine
quilted by one of our guild members, Joy Cannon.
She did a wonderful job on the quilting.

She loved the black spaces on this quilt and new
right away she wanted to make some feathers,

and flowers. Joy does all the machine quilting on our
Shriners quilts and when she is finished a few
of the guild members sew the binding on.
I happened to get my own quilt to finish, this was a good
thing because I had forgotten to take a picture of this quilt.

Most of the material I used in this quilt came from the guilds scrap closet.
Some beautiful things can be made from scrap!
